What You'll Do

• Provide technical guidance on best practices in aquaculture, including efficient feeding techniques and species-specific care.

• Act as a liaison between Olam Agri IFP and local fish farmers, coordinating aquaculture and fisheries development projects across Nigeria.

• Onboard and activate new aquaculture and fish farmers, ensuring smooth integration into the value chain.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve farming practices, operational processes, and overall productivity.

• Deliver technical and logistical support for field-based development and research activities, including integrated fish farming systems.

• Train and mentor farmers on aquaculture best practices, while collecting and analyzing data to drive operational improvements.

• Support the implementation of sustainable farming practices aligned with environmental stewardship goals.

Job Qualification

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical expertise in aquaculture systems, fish health management, and biosecurity protocols.

• Excellent knowledge of the local aquaculture sector and established industry connections.

• Proven ability to analyze and interpret aquaculture data for operational improvements.

• Minimum of a university degree in fisheries/aquaculture or related studies; professional certifications are an advantage.

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in aquaculture, preferably in a technical or operational role within a commercial farm environment.
